Cylinder misfire codes lead the list: P0302 (336 complaints), P0303 (289), P0300 (272), P0301 (261) and P0304 (256). The Ford Escape is the top model on every one of them. Beyond misfires, many codes come mostly from one model, such as the Kia Soul on P0420, the Honda CR-V on P0172 and the Chevrolet Malibu on P2138.
