Electrical system
Constant problems with starter engaging and not starting vehicle. This form only gave me one option for date; this has happened multiple times. This is a defective part, I went to dick scott dealership, tech wrote to check car and did not note defective starter; wanted me to pay $118 to inspect the jeep. In the warranty jargon, it stated if it was a defective part, it would be replaced.
2021 model-year owner, NHTSA complaint 11700572
Transfer case had to be replaced. Service 4 wheel drive light came on along with traction control warning. Also, electronic stability control warning. Steering and movement were sluggish. Only had 51,000 miles in it. Not happy to have paid almost $1,400. For the repair. This should have been a recall because as I understand, many other owners have had the same exact issue. Please look into this. Thank you.

Engine
My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee has 85,820 miles & the radiator was found leaking when brought in for a engine code indicating the thermostat was bad. The thermostat was replaced ($130.00 part) and then the Chrysler dealer told me the radiator needed to be replaced. My dealer mentioned this has been more common with jeeps and they now keep the radiator in stock.
2015 model-year owner, NHTSA complaint 11298019
The EGR valve, diesel particulate filter, and intake manifold failed at 88K miles. The EGR was replaced at 49K miles on october 4, 2021. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for mil. The estimated repair cost is $11K. All components are filled with carbon deposits. The emissions system should provide a longer life than 88K miles. Is there a possible design defect with the emission ?

The transfer case on this Jeep failed at just over 64,000 miles. As the service center tried to repair, they were unable to locate rebuilt/certified transfer cases due to high demand. A new transfer case was purchased. The core charge (fee to return old transfer case) for the service center was $1000 indicating to me that the old, failed transfer case is in high demand for rebuilds due to a common failing part.
